The Gordon Center for Research in Medical Education is located on University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Medical Center campus north of downtown Miami. Entry to our training facility is via the first floor of the Clinical Research Building, 1120 N.W. 14th Street.


Parking for learners who drive to the Gordon Center is available in the garage adjacent to the building, located between 1120 & 1150 on N.W. 14th Street, or in the Park Plaza West Green Garage, 1140 N.W. 16th Ave. The rates are the same at both garages: $1 per half-hour up to $8 per day, $3 per day with a handicap decal.

Public transportation

Miami-Dade County's elevated train system includes the Civic Center station located right at the western edge of the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. MetroRail trains run every 10 minutes during rush hour, and the fare is $2.00 per trip, or $5.00 for a 1-day pass, payable only by preloading an Easy Ticket (good for 60 days) or a reloadable Easy Card at a station vending machine. The rapid transit system includes a feeder line through downtown Miami called the MetroMover, which is FREE and runs from 5 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.
